1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2009 Bottled at PBF. Pale yellow, brief head. Resiny hop extract aroma. Grainy extracty malt. Dry and slim, but unfirm and sloppy. Grainy, resiny and aggressive. Has no drinkability. Tastes cheap. like a cheap charicature of a german pils.

50cl bottle from the local Rewe. Pours pale yellow with a small head. Aroma is unconvincing. Flavour is sharp and metallic with an unpleasant aftertaste. Yuck.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Typical pilsener golden colour with a nice frothy head. Grainy to citric, slightly spicy aroma. Fine hops on a not-so-fine bready vegetable foundation and a rather mild bitterness in the end. Not a top-seeded german pilsener, but your wallet will be thankful if you buy this for BBQ.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pleasant, fresh hops aroma that mingles with some skunk. Slightly crisp, with not so much malt. Clear gold with a patchy, white cover. Skunky flavour with some crisp sweet malt and an almost overpowering bitterness for the weak flavour. Typical, unremarkable, German Pils. Not offensive. Light body, medium carbonation, crisp finish.
