3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 330 ml bottle.
Nice golden yellow colour and decent head, both in thickness and duration. A few bubbles rising.
Smell is strong, of malts and hops, your typical pilsener aroma.
Taste is also typical for a pilsener, with the right amount of bitterness.
Medium thickness in body and average carbonation.
Overall a quite good beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Couleur dorée, aucune mousse. Nez fort houblonné, épicé et herbeux. Gout houblonné épicé et herbeux, bonne pétillance et forte amertume et note maltée. Fin assez longue et forte amère. Vraiment bien pour une pils.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
German pale lager with snow white, equal, dense and stable head and pale straw yellowish blonde colour, cristal clear. Cheesy and malty aroma with peppery and grassy hops but unfortunately lightstruck as well (chemical and ’cat pee’). Restrained malty taste, grainy, not turning sweetish, sharpish peppery hop bitterness in the finish, a bit wry and chemical and retronasally there is the lightstruck effect again, pretty much ruining it. I had far better Pilseners than this.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a clear, very pale yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is light malt and some noble hops. Not much flavor up front or in the middle, transitioning to a long and dry hop flavor that lingers for a long time. Thin mouthfeel and light, soft carbonation. Overall, a fairly low quality European Pils that doesn’t have much to offer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
33cl orphaned bottle at the local Edeka, bb07/2014. Pours a light fizzy yellow, slightly grainy and sulphuric aroma. Drinkable, with the metallic and astringent palate all but ruining what could have been a decent enough run-of-the-mill hop extract pilsner with sharpish bitterness and some body.
