Pale in colour with a slight yeast haze (bottle conditioned) and fairly fizzy, maintaining the head well. Sweet, malty aromas - slightly orangey, maybe a hint of apples. Taste is where the citrus comes through - a bit lemony, slightly metallic and a tiny bit sweet. Hints of bitter toffee on the aftertaste. Another to add to my recent run of good beers.

On cask at The Wenlock Arms. Deep red amber, medium head. Fruity aroma followed by yellow apples and a hint of caramel flavours. A good bitter.

Bottle. No lacing and clear.Slightly fruity, with a medium body. Came in a transparent bottle-something the people who are at the end of the barbed comments on the bottle never were. Not bad.

larsga (4435) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 18, 2009
Small creamy offwhite head. Slightly hazy coppery body. Fruity caramel aroma with floral resiny notes. Dry-sweetish metallic fruity resiny taste with chalky floral notes. Mid-bodied. Smooth, mild mouthfeel. Dry resiny metallic aftertaste with papery straw notes. Nice, highly drinkable. (0.25l cask, Regent, Edinburgh. Pump clip said "Last Order’s Banker’s Draft." Assuming it’s this beer.)

50cl bottle from Threshers, Hythe, Kent. Amber with a ring of off-white head; malty aroma; carmel malt flavours, with some rough hops. A very basic bitter.

bobinlondon (1150) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2009
Handpulled cask at the Southern Cross, Watford. Amber with a short lived white head. A very ordinary bitter with plenty of harsh english hops and little to balance them. Not particularly enjoyable.
