Small creamy offwhite head. Slightly hazy coppery body. Fruity caramel aroma with floral resiny notes. Dry-sweetish metallic fruity resiny taste with chalky floral notes. Mid-bodied. Smooth, mild mouthfeel. Dry resiny metallic aftertaste with papery straw notes. Nice, highly drinkable. (0.25l cask, Regent, Edinburgh. Pump clip said "Last Order’s Banker’s Draft." Assuming it’s this beer.)

On cask at Gatwick airport. Cask. At an airport. I feel like bumping it to a 5 just because! Anyhow. Appearance: light brown, medium thickness white head. Aroma: mute, corn, malt, grainy. Flavour: grassy with a good malt backbone, smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a long grassy finish. Pleasant.

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
JDW, Rochester. First British beer after returning from France. Lovely. Nutty caramel and other assorted flavours, all melded well together in an harmonious and non-assertive manner. Very tasty indeed.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear 500ml bottle: best before Apr 2013, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 14th Aug 2012.
Slight haze to the amber body: off-white head of tight bubbles on top, sadly the head died a bit swiftly for my liking.
No great smells (like all Wickwar brews?), some hints of hoppy citrus and biscuity malts but only weak.
Grapefruit and biscuit malts in the taste, nothing overpowering, just background flavours to find. Wickwar do this easy drinking, pleasing brews around 4% ABV very well (BOB being another good example). Nothing to upset your taste buds but with a little something to interest your palate.
