Fizz is a special 30th Anniversary collaboration beer brewed by Oregon’s Widmer Brothers Brewing and 10 Barrel Brewing. This unique, bubbly spritzer-style ale offers bright citrus character, subtle hints of ginger spice, and is finished with champagne yeast to really make it pop. Fizz is as sparkly as it is surprising. Let those little bubbles dance. OG: 11.8P, AE: 1.5P, COLOR: 7 SRM

Aroma is mild and lightly bready. Appearance is like a champagne beer with those tiny bubbles. Taste is subtle and would go very well with various food pairings like seafood salad. Ginger is a great spice that has a calming effect on the palate and constitution. Definitely, a pre-course starter beer. Great company collaboration.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours clear bright golden with white head and fizzy carbonation. Tastes pale malt, tart citrus, ginger. Tastes very dry, with notes of ginger, citrus, champagne. Tastes drier than expected, like a mix of ginger ale and dry champagne somewhat.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear gale gold color with an off white head. The aroma is bright and lemony with some tart grapefruit and hints of ginger spice. The flavor is light and gingery, but more of the candied ginger flavor rather than the spice. Some florals and lemon peel. Pleasant. A little noble hop character near the finish. A tad soapy mid palate, but otherwise good.

Drought. Clear rich yellow with whitish creamy head, no discernible aroma, low carbonation, very smooth body, very little ginger flavor as part of the pilsner like crispy taste, abrupt finish. I really expectewd much morre fizziness from this.

Had this one on tap a couple of times now and this review is from a bottle. Pours fbright clear golden.. short lived white head with no real lacing... Nose has subtle ginger and wheaty maltiness to bring up the rear.. lemon notes show on the finish. Wheat malt with light ginger... lemon and something that I associate with sage.. Light body ... very drinkable, but this one will get lost in the fray... nothing wrong with it, just not outstanding in the field.

Light gold, light gingery aroma, spicy, maybe some phenols from the champagne yeast, but decent experiment with some refreshing character.

On tap at Pangaea. Pours clear yellow with a modest off-white head and a ginger aroma. There is a light pale malt flavor with some carbonation and a citrus finish. Sort of watery, but refreshing.

On Tap at 10 Barrel Boise Clear bright golden with a quickly receding coarse white head. A light citrusy pisnerish aroma. Light fairly sweet malt bodied and very lightly hopped. A bit of lemon but I don’t detect much ginger. Quite a sharp carbonation bite though.

On tap, pours a clear pale yellow with a big head and lots of lacing. Nose is light, malty, some orange/grapefruit? Taste is very bright, and lite up front, critus notes, watery, quickly becomes malty and a bit bitter. interesting beer.

22. Pours a sparkling clear pale yellow with a creamy white head that sticks around for a little bit. Plenty of sparkling carbonation. Modest soft nose of gentle sweet ginger and lemon, very dialed back, more subdued than any pop I can think of. Creamy light body with lively carb. Soft ginger and lemon notes along with a bit of biscuit on the mid palate. Light finish.
