Good bigger dark fruit, caramel malt aromas. Light barrel influence noticeable. Moderate sweet taste, light tannic, moderate bitter. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter, but it finishes more dry. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter kind of soft carbonation. More dry finish. Awesome stuff. Pretty well done.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Apex, pours a murky dark orangey maroon with a medium beige / tan head. Aroma brings out moderate bourbon notes, vanilla and dark fruits. Flavour brings out loads of vanilla notes, bourbon, followed by dark fruit and caramel. Extremely well-balanced, and definitely the best of the trio. Dangerously drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours an amber mixed with copper color. Aroma is of bourbon and whiskey combined with malt. The cask taste comes through, with distinct oak barrel flavor. The complex palate dissipates rather quickly which allows the alcohol content to be hidden.
