12 oz. bottle. Pours a somewhat hazed orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy with caramel and bready malt sweetness. Flavor is moderately bitter with mild sweet malt backing. This is a fairly hoppy pale ale with some interesting bitterness. Medium bodied, decent carbonation. Somewhat of a surprise.

Tap. New Bohemia. Copper. White head, good lacing, little aroma. Hop taste, but pretty subtle and smooth. Wish there was more to it. They didnít quite turn this to gold, but itís OK.

Tap at Roasthouse Pub. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is apple and pear esters, citrus and herbal hops with biscuit malt. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness, supporting malt, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

12oz bottle served in a SN IPA glass A - Pours a clear copper/amber with a sturdy off-white head. Very nice sticky lacing. S - Dry hopped citrus, pale malts, candied floral, straight up pellet hops T - Citrus hops with dry biscuity pale malts in the background. Dried pineapple, green apple, floral hops, zesty lemon peel, grassy hops. An outside sweetness stays on the the outskirts of a citrus dominating fruity dryness. Finishes quick and dry with lemon bitterness on the aftertaste. M - Heavy side of medium carbonation, smooth and light body, dry finish Good aroma but somewhat one dimensional, same with the flavor. Great hop flavors with little malt to back it up. Iím sensing galaxy and citra to be the main components. The flavors are bright and crisp with no heft to back it up. This is a nice hoppy flavored brew but fails to grab me in all the right spots. Very nice and refreshing on a warm summer day though. Serving type: bottle 06-23-2013

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear light copper with a thin head, not sure what beer the last reviewer had, but I donít see anything about bourbon for this one, aroma is of malt and bread with a hint of hops, the flavor is of light malt and bread, more sweet and malty than anything, meh.

A bourbon beer should have a taste of bourbon, this just tastes like watered down bourbon. Pours an average amber color with very little head. Smells and tastes like bourbon, and nothing else. Had on tap at Billcos. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
