12oz bottle served in a SN IPA glass A - Pours a clear copper/amber with a sturdy off-white head. Very nice sticky lacing. S - Dry hopped citrus, pale malts, candied floral, straight up pellet hops T - Citrus hops with dry biscuity pale malts in the background. Dried pineapple, green apple, floral hops, zesty lemon peel, grassy hops. An outside sweetness stays on the the outskirts of a citrus dominating fruity dryness. Finishes quick and dry with lemon bitterness on the aftertaste. M - Heavy side of medium carbonation, smooth and light body, dry finish Good aroma but somewhat one dimensional, same with the flavor. Great hop flavors with little malt to back it up. Iím sensing galaxy and citra to be the main components. The flavors are bright and crisp with no heft to back it up. This is a nice hoppy flavored brew but fails to grab me in all the right spots. Very nice and refreshing on a warm summer day though. Serving type: bottle 06-23-2013

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear light copper with a thin head, not sure what beer the last reviewer had, but I donít see anything about bourbon for this one, aroma is of malt and bread with a hint of hops, the flavor is of light malt and bread, more sweet and malty than anything, meh.

A bourbon beer should have a taste of bourbon, this just tastes like watered down bourbon. Pours an average amber color with very little head. Smells and tastes like bourbon, and nothing else. Had on tap at Billcos. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Btl pours crystal clear light orange-copper color. Thick off white head that dissipates quickly, leaving lots lacing on glass. Smells of tropical fruits, citrus and a faint pine aroma. Taste of sweet caramel, grapefruit and piney hops.Light to medium body, smooth slick texture, perfect carbonation and light bitter finish. Very nice, perfectly balanced pale with a crisp, clean, fresh hop flavor and a mild malt backbone. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Would be great on a hot summer day.

@ Jungle Jims / Eastgate OH - Clear medium amber with a good 1/2" head, slim bands of lace. Taste is a little confusing - while not dominating, the hops are strongly present because there is very little malt backbone. Just a smidge of malt going in, then the rest is somewhat understated hops. A mild brew; nothing wrong here, just not much to work with. I donít know how it can be 5.8% abv.

Bottle after running at the track. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some caramel, some grapefruity hops, some pine, and some mild citrus character. Flavor is similar, leaning towards the grapefruit hops, but some nice malt in there as well. Overall, a nice pale ale.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 15:53:3-OCT 22-13. If that is an expiration date then I am a few months past it But the pour is handsome enough with its medium amber-bronze color and long lasting off-white head. The aroma is like any dozens of pale ales with its pale malts, mild sweetness, and clean hop note. The body is medium. The taste is relatively mild all in all with a good grainy malt character and clean, crisp hop finish. Overall this is a good pale ale that easily stands side by side with lots of other craft pale ales out there but does not stand out.

Draft. A- Caramel, hops. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, white head,. T- Very hoppy, caramel tones, bitter. P- Full body, sharp texture, average carbonation, bitter long finish. O- Overly bitter and a big let down. The hops are too prominent to enjoy any other flavors here.
