Bottle->SA. Clear copper with small white head. Citrus and pine hops, which are overtaken by grains, malt, and an unpleasant presence of mold/feet/body odor. Messy, unpleasant.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a lighter copper with a quarter inch beige head that lasts. Taste is of citrus, malt, hops, caramel and pine. Similar aroma. Has a mostly full body with a dry and bitter finish. Drinkable and well balanced.

Draft. Copper color with a white head that settles to a film with some nice lacing. Some hop aroma - mostly piney but there is a bit of citrus to it with malt in the background. Good balance of malt and hop, slightly dry finish. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

10/18/13. 12oz bottle thanks to PorterPounder, I believe. Golden copper pour with a small khaki head. Malty flavor, too many specialty malts, some black tea aspects, touches of citrus hops. Could be worse, honestly, but not great.

This alleged pale ale has a muzzle on, because it’s lacking the verbose complexity of some of its peers. Still, it’s a drinkable post-work brew that paddles over the tongue with ease. Decent nose and a super smooth, innocuous mouthfeel and we’re talking accessible and forgettable.

Orange-gold with a small steady white head. Citrus, pine and a bit of toffee in the aroma. Clean malty flavor with a mild bitterness. Crisp like a lager. overall quite refreshing.

From a 12-pack of Winter beers, this was the change of pace in the selection (not really a Winter seasonal). Alchemy hops are the brewery’s blend. They are more pine than citrus. I see they use Munich and Vienna grains. Neither in large quantities, but they give the beer a gorgeous copper color. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a little messy.

Bottle. Piney orange, citrus peel hops, and caramel malt aroma. Slightly hazed copper with a small ivory head. Weedy herbal hops, citrus pith, and biscuity malt flavor.

Lightly hazy amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Creamy malt base, touch of caramel. Ripe orange hops with light floralness. Minerals. Finishes smooth. Joins up well, light and tasty.
