Aroma is fresh, with citrus tones. Nice 1 finger head, with very fine bubbles.Body is a excellent light golden color. Very thin mouthfeel, and feels very light and somewhat fizzy. Overall, I enjoyed this beer, would drink another.

Bottle pours a golden amber color with virtually no head. Aroma is malt, hops, and a bit of spice. Hoppy on the front, but not much in the middle or back. Pretty good taste, though I wish there was more flavor on the finish.

Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Snifter at home. Pours a nice looking deep golden amber that is fairly hazy. Medium off white head, mild lacing. Aroma of malts, mild pine hops, biscuit and leather. Taste is mild with a fairly well balanced blend of malts and hops. Pine, peach, grapefruit and earth are dominant. Medium to light in body, Light carbonation. Overall fine.

I have a pretty high standard for this style because itís one of my favorite session beers. Before a brewery has their chewy double IPA or their thick barreled stout there should come a deliciously drinkable pale, weather it be English or American in style. Widmer has done a few but Alchemy is the latest and greatest? Replacing Drifter Pale, unfortunately Alchemy is a mere glimpse upon what this style can be. What frustrates me here is the base aroma and flavors are there but only watered down and fall terribly flat in the finish. Iíve grown to like a Widmer beer here and there but most of them come off watered down and almost soulless. Sorry Wid bros, I bought three six packs this summer and my tastes buds are still not convinced. For some reason Iím still fortunate to drink a fresh, beautifully colored beer even though it washes down like water, could it be the incredibly low price point and shiny packaging?

Pours golden. Citrus aromas and a very upfront passion fruit taste. Lengthy taste that lingers. Not too bad at all. A smooth ale that is nice on a late summer night

Tap, clear yet deep gold/amber with a medium white head and heavy lacing. Aroma was extremely fruity. Lively carbonation with a light body, taste was medium bitter and a pleasant light/medium sweetness. Overall, a perfect way to finish an evening of beer tasting; a strong finish!
