Smells good, looks good, mouthfeel is a touch oily, mediocre taste, just ok. It seems Widmer has been hastily putting out mediocrity the last year or two. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle from jwLgd. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A sweet light citrus, floral nose with some toasted malts. Very clean with fruity hops, citrus, light crisp earthy notes, lightly toasted malt. Decent for what it is. It also followed Wake n’ bake, NG Cran bic, Heady Topper and 2006 Old Guardian so...

12 oz. bottle. Pours clear amber with a white soapy sudsy head that fades to a wispy film and collar. Aroma has light sweet grassy floral and a bit fruity hops with a light caramel malt balance all around. Taste starts with a bitter hop profile and shows some pine and fruit and more soft caramel malt that melds everything together and some spice. Palate is thin fizzy and dry. Pretty good Pale Ale.

A decent and quaffable pale ale. Aroma was good. Lots of caramel malt and that’s about it. Pour was a nice hazy light orange with a two finger off white head. Taste was very malt forward. Caramel malt was the main flavor with a hint of toffee. The only way you know there’s hops in this beer is that the sweetness is subdued in the aftertaste. Just enough hops to balance out the malt flavor and not enough to even call the beer hoppy. Nice carbonation.

Bottle pour at Rocket City Brewfest. Clear amber with a light head; citrus aroma. Strong sour orange flavor up front followed by a smoother taste of hops and some caramel. Slight bitter aftertaste. Interesting but it’s not something I would seek out.

Sample at the Hills Market beer tasting on 07/25/2013. The beer is a clear gold-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with a citrusy hops flavor and notes of caramel and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall
