Bottle from Rite-Aid: Created a thick fluffy topping of foam which eventually simmered down leaving behind a light copper brass colored liquid. Aroma is faint with only a minor hint of aromatic hops that also has notes of wheat or rye bread. The drink is mild and has a rustic combination of light pine like hops paired with bready like malts which results in a balanced pale ale but compared to other PA styles this isn’t even in the contest.

From a bottle poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Kind of a basic lager with a little hop finish. Nothing too noteworthy but not a bad backyard beer.

On tap @ Basil’s in Appleton. Clear amber in color with a thin white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma... not a good sign. The taste is sweet caramel malt and some piney hops. Pretty average, nothing really jumps out at you, I’ll pass.

Pour from a bottle on an Alaska Airlines flight. Darker golden color with a slick of white foam. Aroma is heavy sweet malt and caramel with a very small touch of pine into the finish. Taste has more pine and bitterness but it takes the backseat to the sweet malt and caramel. Clean mouthfeel but very ordinary and almost as though they went out of the way to hide the hops.

12 oz bottle from the six type sampler case. A nice blend of hops makes this stand out from the rest.

Appearance- Pours clear amber with slight head Smell- Best part of the beer. Smelled like a mix of caramel and fruit. The fruit/sweetness mix reminded me of a blueberry muffin. Great smelling beer. Taste-Completely different from the smell. Basic bready/crackery flavor with a little citrus Mouthfeel- Smooth with very slight carbonation. Overall- I was a little let down. I was expecting a stronger flavor after I smelled it but still a decent beer.

This golden ale has floral notes. A hoppy flavor which finishes clean and doesn't linger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear golden amber with good near white head. Nose has almost a perfumy/earthy note. kinda like lima beans, but not offensive. Citrus, but herbal. Smooth and not bitter, until the very tail end that has a grassy bitter twinge. Overall, pretty easy drinking pale ale. I could drink quite a few of these.

Bottle. Clear amber body with a short white head. Juicy maraschino cherry / pear / fruit cocktail nose with lighter hints of tropical bubble gum and pine sap; leafy and grassy at times, and a little musty and sweaty game-y (animal hair), but that character seems to shapeshift back into a more typical Cracklin’ Oat Bran / bread / grain / toffee Caramel, Munich and Vienna malt character. Sweet and oily with medium carbonation. Nothing to change your world here, just a lot of resins and juicy hops and a typically-rough Widmer malt texture with their grating artificial carbonation. Chalky + sugary = sweet tart candies in the finish.
