355ml bottle, pours clear golden brown with a small white head. Caramel malt and biscuit, floral hop, spicy orange, pine. Good flavours, decent balance, light sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, light oily feel, soft carbonation, abrupt bitter finish.

Bottle. Nose dough and pine, lightly spicy, my second straight from Widmer that takes the Lagunitas tack [unfortunately, neither pulled it off]. Pours lightly gradient orange with slight carbonation and a sudsy beige head. Taste lightly sweet, light body and only lightly effervescent, still weighed down by minor alcohol. Toffee and earth, little lining of toast here and there, but otherwise the malt is simple and weak. Mildly soapy, no astringency or tannin problems, light herbal and woodsy swipes but no more direct pine or caramel (and pretty minimal citrus, too). The blandification continues.

Bottle@ahven. Coppery light hazy. Rich caramelly, butterscotchy nose with lime citrus hops for balance. Soft body, easy. Pines, some oranges, caramels in flavour. Pretty decent bodied apa. Easy drink.

---Rated BY Italianbeer85

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a thin beige head of foam. The aroma has dry, old floral notes with some caramel and cardboard as well. The taste is sweet, but oxidation is too strong. Medium carbonation and body.

Lovely dark golden brown colour, just a wisp of a white head; enticing peachy orange aroma; tastes fairly straightforward: orange, bitter, dry finish; simple, but not excessively harsh; nicely balanced and a pleasant drink.

Bottle thanks to cheap. Pours a clear orange with a white head. Hop aromas have dropped off greatly but there is some earthly hop aroma left. Backbone beer is decent though. Light caramel sweetness. Light bitterness.

bottle - Pours lightly hazy orange with a one finger head. It smells of floral hops and caramel malt. Medium bodied and moderately hopped, it’s a tasty, slightly above average craft brew.

Transfer from BA review on 6-14-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a beautiful golden amber color with a thick and billowy off white head. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is a nice mix of sweet, malt, and hop. The sweet is of a caramel and lighter fruit smell of orange while the malt is of a bready nature. The hop is a nice mix of grapefruit and floral smells giving a nicely balanced aroma overall. Taste – The taste begins with a smooth bready taste mixed with a little bit of caramel sweetness. As the flavor advances a bit of citrus comes to the tongue in both a sweet and hoppy way. A sweeter orange and more bitter grapefruit come to the tongue with the grapefruit overall taking over the sweeter tastes as the flavor moves more toward the end. Along with the increase in grapefruit, so too comes some lighter pine and floral hop tastes which in the end take away from some of the smoothness, but deliver a light to moderately hopped bready taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel-The body of the beer is on the average to slightly creamier side with a carbonation level that is average. The combo is rather nice for the sweeter and maltier flavors upfront while also allowing for the hop to shine at the end. Overall – A rather nice drinker. It balances a sweeter/maltier front with a nice hop blend at the end to create a nice clean flavor to linger on the tongue.
