Dec 30, 2007 On tap at Widmer Bros. Gasthaus in Portland, OR--Deep black-brown body with a thin off-white gray-brown head. Mild coffee notes with a mouth feel that is cream with medium carbonation. Nutty, creamy with toffee flavors. Lots of chocolate, and coffee with a slight metallic presence. Roasted, toasty earthy bitterly hopped stout. Light finish, but overall, quite good.

Nov 15, 2006 Tap at Gasthaus. Frothy beige head, almost opaque reddish brown body. Light coffee, cream aroma. Flavors of roasted malt, chocolate malt, light bittering hops. Faint oxidation. Finish is roasted malt. Body was too light for the style on this one.
