4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pint from Growl Movement in S.Salem.
In appearance this is a very murky golden yellow with a small white head.
Bubblegum, sweet over-ripe bananas, cherries and clove lovely lovely aromas.
Taste is similar to the aroma( thank goodness) with a little more spicy clove.
Luxuriant mouthfeel..medium with low carbonation..great.
LIke many have said why oh why is this not the flagship instead of the lame version?

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice murky golden pour w/ a thin white head that leaves little lacing. The aroma is an awesome blend of Belgian spices. The taste carries over most of the aroma flavors but finishes just a tad plain & a touch watery. Overall though, it’s still a very nice beer!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Je l’ai bu dans la bouteille quand je faisait le camping... C’était bonne. Il avais les clous de girofle, du levure allemand et c’était aussi un peu fruité. Ca va valoir la peine la prendre encore, mais dans une verre!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy yellowish orange color, small off white head, looks like a hefe. Aroma is wheat spice and sweetness, hefe yeast good balance of banana and clove, touch of lemon, fresh malt. Style appropriate light sweetness, good fresh grain flavor, a little spice. Light to medium feel, pretty normal carbonation, probably should be higher but it’s a bar tap. Solid hefe, not going to blow anyone away but it’s easy to drink and tasty.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is billed as being part of a series of experimental beers. It’s a hefeweizen. I don’t have anything against the style but making one hardly makes your brewery a bastion of experimentation. I guess it is a bit on the strong side. It’s a cloudy orange beer and pretty much headless. Kinda just looks like I poured myself a glass of slightly muddy water. This is very much a yeasty banana-centric hefe and it is pretty well done aside from the fact that it is a little bit oversweet and heavy. Because of this, it doesn’t really have the light but creamy texture that makes this style so great. There is at least a firm enough bitterness in the finish to bring some balance though so I guess points for effort. This works OK I suppose but I wish they would have either made it a bit dryer or upped the gravity to be a weizenbock or something. Where it sits now is kind of an uncomfortable balance.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
All i smell is the almost spicy aroma from the yeast in this cloudy yellow brew wit no head. The taste is bitterish and sweet from the yeast. The beer is medium bodied and has a spice to it almost like coriander. Not a bad brew

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
~Aroma of banana, clove, vanilla, and wheat, light hoppiness
~Pours a hazy straw color with quickly disappearing white head.
~Well balanced flavor of, banana, clove, bread and candy like sweetness.
~medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, with medium high CO2, lingering bready banana yeasty finish.
~Very smooth hefeweizen. I personally like them a bit more assertive. Likely better if fresher. Possibly buy again if on sale and in a six pack. Otherwise I would go for a German Hefe in a large bottle.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy earthy yellow with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a rich wheat note with a hint of sweet banana and growing clove notes. Flavor showcases the wheat as well with only a bit of sweetness and clove.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is bubblegum, wheat and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is bubblegum, wheat, mild sweetness/cookie dough and a slightly tangy/mostly smooth finish. Why they didn’t call this Hefeweizen as opposed to the original which wasn’t I don’t know, but it was a solid hefe either way.
