On tap tonight at the Blue Door Pub. Pour a nice amber color with caramel aroma. Flavor was a little bitter with a warming nutty alcohol aftertaste. Have had from the bottle as few times before and remember it being a lot better. I may buy a sixer and re-rate

Not a bad beer at all. Rich amber in color with a nice off white head. Very hoppy aroma. Flavor had a citrusy hint to it with a great hoppy, clean almost sweet finish. Great beer.

Wonderful looking amber color with a warm red tinge and tan head. Pleasantly piquant mix of hops and candi malts prick the nostrils. Candi malts and easy hopped flavor Decent mix of bitter and sweet that completely covers and suspicion of alcohol. Some warmth on the finish.

Picked this up as part of a winter sampler at the Eden Prairie liquor store. I wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Poured amber with a tan head. Fruity, citrus aroma. Some bitterness. Nice balance between caramel, malt and grapefruit hops. Notes of citrus, orange peel and perhaps a hint of honey. I will definitely give this a try again.
