This amber ale poured with a nice fluffy off-white head and a root beer aroma. The flavor is quite hearty, filled with smoked malt followed by tasty hop bitterness.

Bottle from S&K Beverages in Plano, TX. Pours a slight hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of some caramel and hoppy grapefruit spice. Flavor is malty, caramel, hoppy grapefruit, nice bitter. Mouthfeel is medium body with high carbonation....Overall, good stuff, warming, good winter beer.

Bottled. Man was this a nice surprise. Easily one of the better amber ales I have ever tried. Very dark brown pour with ruby highlights. Awesome blend of sweet malt and bittering hops. Complex flavour with a clean finish. Great winter warmer.

Pours a burgundy red with a piney hop, sweet almost pepperminty malt aroma. Nice beer that tastes like the aroma with the taste leaning towards the hops. I thought this was too hoppy for a winter beer, maybe I have burned myself out on hops. But it is very drinkable with nice carbonation and the alcohol is not noticeable.

Pours full amber with a small off-white head. Fair amount of lacings. Taste is like a malted-up IPA. Very smooth and tasty. Alcohol (7.2%) is well hidden. Palate is very smooth.. Drinability is good considering the 7.2% abv.

pours multi colored like a black and tan with a small but holding off-white head. Aroma of full bodied hops and bitter and sweet malt. The flavor is like a good ipa with a nice malt backbone and a tinge of sweetness. Really superb beer. Texture and body are full without being too heavy. Body is mild and a tiny bit creamy. Lacing is heavy and intricate. The beer finishes with a becon for the next sip.
