It pours a clear red color leaving the same color body and a one inch white foamy head that slowly dies. Speckled lacing clings to the sides of the pint glass. The smell is combined nicely between malts and caramel to the citrus and hops. The taste is bitter and sweet at different times balanced between the malts and caramel to the citrus and hops. "Winter" spices tie in at the end and in the aftertaste. The finish is dry. The palate is about a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. I’d say this is fairly sessionable. Overall, not bad, a hoppier winter warmer that I would come back to.

I don’t want to be this person, but I can’t help myself. Brrr is a dumb name for a beer. There, I said it. Silly name (or silly pet peeve on my part) aside, Brrr *cringe* has some standout qualities. Color is ruby red with off-white head. The aroma is pretty great - citrusy and piney hops, caramel, and fruitiness. Despite the hop-forward aroma (I found it similar to Stone’s Arrogant Bastard), the flavor is surprisingly sweet. The maltiness, booze, and fruitiness make the biggest impressions, but there’s enough hop bitterness to round it out. Happily, this beer is more than its name.

Bottle. A- Citrus, hoppy, pine, sweet. A- Brown orange color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Citrus, bitter, piney, caramel, slightly sweet. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Not what I was expecting at all. I was thinking lots of caramel and cocoa and spice, and the results were lots of citrus, pine, bitterness, and some caramel. Overall it was well executed but a little more bitter than I wanted.

Nice aroma that smelled like there would be more to the taste. Appearance was dark brown in color. Good blend of hops and malt, emphasis on the malt for a nice sweet taste. The 7.2% alcohol is very well hidden.
