4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
It pours a clear red color leaving the same color body and a one inch white foamy head that slowly dies. Speckled lacing clings to the sides of the pint glass. The smell is combined nicely between malts and caramel to the citrus and hops. The taste is bitter and sweet at different times balanced between the malts and caramel to the citrus and hops. "Winter" spices tie in at the end and in the aftertaste. The finish is dry. The palate is about a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. I’d say this is fairly sessionable. Overall, not bad, a hoppier winter warmer that I would come back to.

Descent beer. Not much of an aroma. Not the worst winter beer but no where near the best.

Pours an amber color with a nice head with a bit of lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and bit of spice. Taste of malt caramel sweetness bit of citrus and spice. Decent bitternes and a dry finish. Moderate body, smooth with a nice feel. The 7.2% ABV is very well hidden. Nice beer to get you through a cold winter night.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
I got this in a winter warmer variety 12 pack. This is a great winter ale. Not over bearing. A great mouthful of ale with just a touch of seasonal spices. This ale isn’t over done with malt or sweetness. I could do a session with this ale. Great color, sturdy head.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance/ Semi transparent medium amber in color. 2full fingers of light tan foam which dissipates to a thin froth after several minutes however leaving nice lacing. Nice carbonation.
Aroma / Floral, piney hops. Sweet and pleasant.
Taste / Fresh baked bread. Nice hop load but not overwhelming.
Mouth Feel / Very smooth and kind of creamy. Medium bodied with a nice smooth finish.
Overall/ This was a very good beer more to the hoppy than malty side. It was a nice beer to enjoy slowly by the fireplace.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle pours with a clear amber body that has copper hues and supports a nice looking tan head. The aroma offers up malts, roasted malts, a mild black licorice note and kind of a maple like spiciness. The taste begins with a spicy maple note and then it moves toward malts and roasted malts. To midway and toward the finish I get winter spiciness and some sweet dark fruity esters. Nice winter brew.
