Much better than I expected. Especially after following a dogfish head 90. Pours a Carmel color with a more pronounced head than expected. One of the best aromas I’ve enjoyed in an IPA. Nice hoppy start, with a peculiar after taste that I couldn’t put my finger on, but like it as a differentiater. Was a little over carbonated, but scored better than expected.

Aroma has christmas "cumin bread" maltiness. Pours hazy copper with a small head that leaves some lacing, Alcohol hits first in taste, then maltiness with light sweetness. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall not that pleasant. Boozy.

Bottled at hophead. Dark red colour. Low carbonation. Malty aroma with trace of hope notes. Taste is rich malty with enough non-agressive bitterness on back. Good balance but bit too simple imo.

Clear, light copper. Medium body, light flavor, smooth texture, very long palate. Moderately bitter but not too dry, good acidity but not what one expects in a red ale. Holiday spices, hoppy, herbal, some malt in background. Pleasant, tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a bubbly off white head. Tastes like booze, pine hops, caramel, resin, malty, and dry grapefruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like citrus hops, booze, caramel, and nutty malt.

Bottle. Dark reddish brown colored body with a thin off white head. Sweet caramel and leather are present in the nose. Peaches and cinnamon are also present. This one is boozy at the end of each drink. Peaches are spice notes of nutmeg and cinnamon are also tasted. There is a slightly leathery finish. An overall rough drinking beer between the boozy and slightly soapy finish.

Amber and ruby tones. Passion fruit and tropical smells. Agreeable enough while tasting, I expected a little more on the hops side. Tasty enough - but will take me awhile to get through this 6pck ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 21/12/14. Pours a dark orange with a medium-sized, beige head. Aroma is caramel, some pine, some dried fruit. Taste is semi-dry, caramel, some wooden flavor, light pine. Wood and pencil shavings become stronger in the aftertaste. Fairly full, medium carbonation.
