3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 seymour (1136) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Tasted from 12oz brown bottle into nonic pint glass, thanks John. It poured a light amber colour, redder than I expected, obviously from a little caramelized or roasted malt which also lent a little more grainbill complexity than to a typical blond ale. Other than that, this seemed a predictable, mass-produced Citra-hopped American Pale Ale. A light and refreshing summer drop. Good not great.

Mixed Widmer 12-pack from grocery. Pours yellow with white foamy head. Strong melon/citrus and honey notes. Taste is mildly sweet with citrus and some floral. Quick finish. I can see this being very nice on a hot day.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 northropfrye (1376) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 15, 2013
Yellow body with white head, some lacing. Nice piney aroma and was expecting a taste to match. Instead, this was watery, not a lot of taste at all. Slight breadiness. Rarely have I found such a contrast between aroma and taste. Refreshing, but uninteresting.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 chinchill (659) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 15, 2013
12 oz bottle, bottled in May 2013, served in a lager glass.
Pours crystal clear, yellow-gold, with numerous streams of carbonation bubbles. Topped by a well-proportioned white head thats very good in lacing and retention.
The aroma is a fine mix of light malts and Citra hops. Plenty of light fruit, with hints of citrus and apricots. The flavor follows with some added light herbal hop notes. Moderately tart with a balance of sweet and bitter. Light bodied but not watery; crisp with a dry finish.
O: An exceptionally refreshing and clean brew that’s ideal for hot days or when in the mood for a lighter beer.

Pours clear gold with a white soapy head that rests with a spotty film. Aroma is big citrus orange peel and some faint hops. Taste is mildly bitter and citrus with malt finishing, but the citrus really flows all the through. Palate is thin and slick with a solid carbonation and finishing dry.
