3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a light golden color with a white head. Aroma is citra hops, malt, water. Flavor is light juicy citra hops, water, malt. Easy to drink, and refreshing. Widmer has been putting out some decent beers lately, this is not one of them....... but itís not nearly as boring as their hefe and regular lineup.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 9/20/11
Aroma: The aroma is citrus/lemon and some light grassy hop
Appearance: It pours a completely clear yellow-gold color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is mildly sweet, with light malt, and a light hop presence as well
Palate: The body is fairly light and clean, with a smooth mouthfeel, and a rather high drinkability
Interesting, exactly 100 people have rather this one before me (well, really, not that interesting). Overall, this is a pretty solid blonde. Iím not a huge fan of the style, but this one works alright. It isnít particularly interesting, but it is clean, and smooth, and it drinks nicely. I couldnít find too much fault in this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is lightly citrusy but very subdued. Flavor has a bit of citrus...orange, lemon...hint of spice and straw. Mouthfeel is lively but watery with a dry earthy/spicy finish. A bit bland and boring...

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy with a bit of white head. Aroma is Pineapple citrus and passionfruit. Taste is the same, but this beer is somewhat lacking in malt flavors. It would be great if they put in the standard amount, but I suppose this was designed to showcase the hops.$2/12oz

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy gold with a large, loose head of white foam. The nose has some overripe grapefruit and apricot going on. The flavor has a little peach and citrus with a touch of grain. Thin and refreshing on the palate. I can see this being a summer picnic brew.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Lemon-hued copper. Compact, creamy and persistent white foam. Predominant tangerine, scallion, peach marmalade, and pinesap hop aromatics accompany a fleeting glimpse of papery malt and industrial white bread. Fuzzy carbonation. Malt quickly unfolds and reveals an overwhelmingly husky, paper quality. Malt definition is essentially nonexistent as itís inexpertly extracted, continually depositing a stale popcorn and foamy communion wafer characteristic which lifelessly fizzles away on the palate. Distant peach fruitiness lends scant depth along with a snippet of caramel from the malt. Tangerine hop accents impart negligible brightness before relinquishing the luster to a moderate amount of resin. Dry, spicy hop finish is capped with waning notes of paper. The States woefully lack quality low-gravity beers, and I commend Widmer for at least trying something less redundant than the next brewery. But, unfortunately, the noble experiment results in a very stark beer, overall, stripped entirely of its character due to an apparent degree of excessive filtration. On top of that, the ghastly malt profile leaves much to be desired. Clean up the malt and leave it unfiltered and this would be halfway enjoyable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a clear pale yellow with small white head that dissapates quickly. Very little lacing, medium/light body, and citrus aroma. Taste is slightly sour citrus (lemon with some orange), a little biscuit, and grassy hops in the finish.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A really nice summer beer. Light with a good amount of citrus taste without a heaping amount of bitterness. Quite a nice tea aroma too. Soft and tasty.
