Citra hops lend their name to this interpretation of a Golden Ale. But thatís not all they bring to the party. Their striking citrus aroma and thirst-quenching flavor are the perfect pairing for soft malt notes. Together they create a beer thatís full in flavor and uniquely refreshing.

12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass showing a hazed, orangy gold color, white, billowy head foam that gradually faded, and ribbons & spots of lightly transparent lacing. The nose was expressive grapefruit, with a touch of tangerine & tropical sweetness, and some grassy nature. Considering the light body, the hop bitterness was quite amped, and more on the citrusy side than earthy. It worked well with and was even intensified by the seltzery, effervescent carbonation. Some tanginess and dryness finished the tasting. Quite refreshing.

Pours gold with a big white head. Smell is citrusy lemony and bright. Taste is hoppy and lemony with incredibly low bitterness. Very smooth and easy to drink and refreshing. Good simple summer beer.

Perfect summer beer. Really light, but great citrus notes, and perfect balance of hops and malt.

On draught at widmer - clear copper color with nice foamy white head. Nose of hops and citrus. Taste is definitely perfect on a hot summer day. Nice blend of citrus and hop. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured clear golden reminiscent of most pale lagers. An average. slightly soapy white head that didnt last long. Aroma was , well, citrus and tropical fruit. Good citrus bitterness in an easy drinking beer.

A good summer beer. There was very little aroma when it was poured and not much head on the top. Overall it was a good beer I would have to have again.

This is a great hot weather beer with enough tropical fruity flavor, but low enough ABV that many can be consumed. This beer also had some of the best clarity Iíve ever seen, even moreso that the macro lagers.

A nice summer beer. Crisp, refreshing and not much flavor (unfortunately). Aroma was so so. Hard to pick out anything. There was some grains with notes of grass and hay. Pour was a nice hazy light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was good. Sweet grains and light malt play together with slightly grassy hops. Perfectly balanced and a great stepping stone for BMC drinkers to graduate to real beer. Nice carbonation as well. Perfect for the season
