COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Citra hops lend their name to this interpretation of a Golden Ale. But that’s not all they bring to the party. Their striking citrus aroma and thirst-quenching flavor are the perfect pairing for soft malt notes. Together they create a beer that’s full in flavor and uniquely refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange gold with coarse white head, settles quickly with essentially no lace. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, floral. Flavor is citrus, malty, nutty, mildly piney, with a fruity, peach, grape finish. Quite fruity and sweet. Soft carbonation, light body, and juicy texture. Light, sweet, fruity blond ale.

Pours a clear deep golden yellow. Aroma is a bit nutty and lightly spicy/peppery. The taste is light and a bit watered down. The citra comes through as pungent and peppery, but it’s strength is a little weak. Also grainy and nutty. Good crisp finish, but undewhelming due to the whole weak flavor

Bottled. Poured cloudy straw golden with a short, spotty white head. The aroma picked up a kiss of citrus over soft bready malts.. not a whole lot going on, but it smelled refreshing. The flavor found bready notes and pale malts at the core with light grassy bitterness and scratchy orange peel around.. refreshing finish. Light-medium bodied with fairly high carbonation on the palate.. dry and grainy at times.. this was aiight.

355mL new label and bottle design. Chill haze, brighter gold pour. Medium, soapy white foam with weaker retention. Not much aroma- mild soap. Taste is bland- small soap and biscuit. Disappointing. Tastes almost like nothing :/

Hazy Yellow Color, Huge Head, Lots of Lacing. Moderate Orange Aroma. By the Looks and first sip impressions, you’d think this is a wheat beer.Malt, Citrus Sour, Grapefruit Biter, light peppery bitter finish. Real easy, refreshing summer beer. Enjoyed it. Good. ..

Backlog of ratings. Thanks to someone at one of bu11zeye’s tastings. The look is golden in color, whitish head, and clear. The smell is wheat, malts, floral, and fruits. The taste is the same as the smell.

Golden yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is citrus. Taste is a nice malt backbone balanced with the light citrus hops. Soft mouth feel. Low carbonation. Little lacing.

On tap pours out a pale golden topped with a long lasting white ring. Aroma cereal malts, lite hops, and some sweatness. Taste of sweet malts, floral, and a touch of bitterness.

12oz bottle. Bottled 4/10/13. ABV labeled 4.4%. Poured into my DFH IPA glass. Mostly clear yellow color. Thin white head, leaves pretty nice lace. Few small particles floating in the body. Flavor is bready, doughy, with some lemon citrus. More smooth, crisp carbonation of moderate strength. Lighter body. More dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. OK golden ale. Citra doesn’t really shine well here. It might not help that the beer is nearly 5 months old, but hey, excuse me for drinking a summer brew in the summer.

Hazy orange pour some white head. Aroma of canned peaches, orange, pine. Tastes like it has fruit juice in it. Light carb. Smooth syrupy mouthfeel; sweet though not overly sweet with no real bitterness. Tastes of peaches, black pepper. Delicious fruity non-fruit beer.
