3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Fatehunter (750) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - NOV 25, 2012Finger of head. A cloudy, light straw colored body.
A nice citrus (lemon and grapefruit) smell.
A great lemon bitter taste from beginning to end. A real summer lemonade. Ends with a sweet note. Great balance.
Crisp and clean texture. Medium body and moderate carbonation.
A really good summer brew. On the lighter side as a blonde but has great flavor.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 fata2683 (2165) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 21, 2013
bottle pours straw yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is actually really nice, big tropical fruit hops. Loads of mango and pineapple. Flavor is nice and light upfront with crackers and grassy malts ending with a light but again tropical fruit bitterness. Almost like guava. Really neat and simple beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 gregwilsonstl (665) - USA - MAY 21, 2013
Lots of citrus lemon as the name implies. Dark straw orange. Hoppy for a lighter beer...I think it works well.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3977) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was perfume, catbox and pepper. The flavor was dry perfume and strong catbox with a tangy and peppery undertone. Long tangy catbox finish. Medium body. Pretty awful.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 ciaranc (365) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 18, 2013
330ml bottle, Redmonds, Dublin. Gold, short lasting rocky white head. Malty nose, offset with sharp zesty citrus. Flavour follows the aroma - biscuity malt and lemony hops. Finish is quite abrupt, and a touch dry. Very little body and quite fizzy carbonation. A pleasant quaffer.
2.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jnanakul (13) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Pours gold with a thin white head, nothing spacial. Awesome aroma from the citra hops; citrus, sweet, slight hops, biscuity. The taste is where the let down is. After smelling it the tongue expects Zombie Dust but the flavor isn’t anything like that. Mild honey, slight citrus, bready, mild hop bitterness. Taste’s watered down. Maybe I need to give this one another shot and focus on the fact that it is a blonde... Not an APA or an IPA. Meh...
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 darn1207 (1710) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2013
12oz bottle from ABC on Betton. Clear gold pour with a thin bright white head and slight sheets of lacing. Aroma is honey, citrus, dough and pear. Tastes are mainly bready, with hints of lemon and orange. Watery thin palate that doesn’t help the already bland taste.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 decaturstevo (4080) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 15, 2013
A lightly hazed yellow pour with white head. Aroma is light orange zest and a hinto malt. Light malt and citrus hops and a bito floral lingering taste. Medium/light body and aggressive carbonation. An ok beer I could drink
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 puboflyons (1429) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 8, 2012
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped 1206-NH-JUL0312. It pours an olive yellow with a short lasting fizzy white head. Pleasing sweet and slightly hopped aromas on the nose along with a bit of grapefruit. The body is thin but typical for the style. The taste begins sweet then becomes slightly hopped with virtually no lingering finish. But it would be nice on a hot day.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Braudog (5026) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle. Pours the way I suppose you’d want a "summer brew" to pour ... light and golden with the barest of heads. It has a sweet citric aroma, and drinks almost like a radler, pleasantly laced with summery citrus. (#4828, 11/24/2012)
