3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 arminjewell (4159) - Saudi Auroria, Colorado, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange pour with white head that lasts relatively well. Aroma brought notes of grass, slight cracker, biscuit, hints of lemon, vanilla, hints of honey, pretty mild but lots in there. Taste is a mix of grass, cracker, biscuit, slight earth, honey notes, finishing slightly bitter, dry. Not overly complex, but drinkable with no big off flavors.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Braudog (5025) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Bottle. Pretty amber beer, pleasantly active, with a nice pillowy head of off-white foam. The initial aroma is nice and woodsy, like a wet summer in the Pacific northwest. But this drinks with a more subdued earthy tone, more of a wet grassiness, tinged with a bit of almost smoky funk. (#5012, 5/9/2013)

Slightly hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aromas of bread and cracker with a light hay and grass component and a slight sour, barnyard note. Taste is fairly straightforward with light caramel and toast, and nice floral hops to balance it. Finishes clean and smooth. Nice, tasty, easy drinking spring beer.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerKurve (218) - - APR 28, 2013
Dark Orange with a fairly clear appearance and the carbonation appears fairly moderate; Lacing is also fairly abundant.. Aroma has some fairly strong yeast & barley notes backed up by a mild Pils-grassy scent. The flavor has a strong yeast & barley profile backed up by a hefeweizen-like spicy zing. Body is moderate in weight and the carbonation is fairly mild. A decent and drinkable steam beer, but the spiciness I could’ve done without.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mmmbeer (1154) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 27, 2013
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent light brown color with a tint of maroon, white head became a small ring around the glass, medium carbonation that quickly died out. Aroma of earth, grass, and light grain. Hits the mouth with a high-light body, malt can get a little lost, light caramel and hop cresent in the middle, finish is tangy with a hint of grass. Not too shabby.
