Bottle. This beer pours a deep rich copper red with a slightly offwhite head. A sweet caramel nose has some dust and pecans. There is also bread crust. This tastes of caramel and English walnuts. There is also some hay. The body is smoothly carbonated. This is a well made beer.

"Itís the perfect beer for Spring" -- if you donít expect much from your Spring. A bit of grassy hops and kind of a wheat thang going on...

Tap... Poured copper orange with a thick, eggy, fizzy head. Husky and grain-like. Some hop presence and bitterness, but ultimately clean and drinkable. Would be perfect on a warmer day rather than this freezing weather weíve been having in PDX. Some green hop tone but a good amount of bready grains with earthy spices too.

The aroma is not unlike a cheap adjunct laden macro lager with dirt, yeast, and herbal hops. The appearance is light amber with a small head. The taste is really nice with malt, bread, fruit, and mild bitterness. The palate is smooth. Overall not a true common but a solid beer.
