COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Columbia Hop was near extinction when we brought it back to create this crisp, easy drinking common ale. With a rich amber hue, Columbia Common, the new Spring Seasonal Release for 2013, has a Mild grassy and spicy hop notes are complemented by a fruity character and clean finish brought on by the use of hefeweizen and lager yeasts and unique malt bill. It’s the perfect beer for Spring. Prost!

Bottle. Clear amber pour, very small white head. Roasted and malty nose, taste also malty with fruity undertones. Medium bodied beer, abrupt finish, average carbonation.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty with a pleasant sweetness, quite light, and elegant hop flavours that add a spicy grassy touch.

Bottle: Deep golden to copper coloured, clear, smaller loose white head, malt and cooked vegetables in the nose, suppressed hops detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour and light to medium bodied; slightly lingering drier and hoppier finish with some fruitiness in the aftertaste. Not totally convincing…

Clear amber pour with a nice sized off white head. Very fresh aroma with some grainy notes. Mouthfeel is crisp, nice carbonation. Pretty malty, a bit astringent. Grassy flavors, fresh like some kind of wet hop. Lingering malt/bisquit. Quick finish. NIce and smooth.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours golden with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, light fruity but stale hops. Flavor is malt, caramel, stale hops. Medium body, lively carbonation. Proberly nice when fresh. 280813
