With a rich amber hue, Columbia Common, the new Spring Seasonal Release for 2013, has a Mild grassy and spicy hop notes are complemented by a fruity character and clean finish brought on by the use of hefeweizen and lager yeasts and unique malt bill. It’s the perfect beer for Spring. Prost!

Bottle @ weekly tasting thanks to Ansjelaah. Clear orange color, no head at all. Smell lightly malts maybe a touch of sweetness. Taste is hard to describe, cause there’s virtually no flavor at all. No idea what to say about this flavor wise.

"Spring" seasonal. Only date on here is for december though. It is a lightly malty, pretty crappy brew.

DuffMan (6436) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle. Medium amber colour, clear and bright, with an average white head. Aroma and flavour are grainy and fruity, light but with a firm mouthfeel from the crisp carbonation. More of a dark lager really. Not bad.

5000 (6178) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle:   Amber, clear, moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Faint toasted malt and whole wheat bready aroma.   Very bready on the tongue, not heavy, lots of whole wheat, a little nutty, slightly mealy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft toasted malt finish, lingering whole wheat and nutty notes.   Pretty pedestrian.   Nothing off, but sometimes a little too bready.   Prefer Anchor Steam as it seems a bit hoppier.

Ernest (6142) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 16, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (orange/tangerine, grapefruit, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Light and simple aroma, but it’s pleasant enough. Good quaffing balance. Overall better than usual for this brewery.

12-oz. Pours a crystal clear rubied pale amber with a loose whitish head. Mild corn nuts on the nose, a little grass there. Some dead leaves. Watery medium body with soft carb. Corn nuts and wet grass on the mid palate. Neutral finish.
