3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber with a white head poured from a 12oz bottle. Smells like a big brewer's pilsner but stronger with apparent malts. Taste is crisp and easy to sip but not watery. It's got a full, grassy, flowery hop flavor. This is not a particularly unique beer but a really flavorful session beer for sure.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber body under a small fizzy off-white head that retained as a thin film. The nose is lightly hoppy with some herbal notes and a lightly toasty maltiness. The flavor is quite hoppy for a Steam Beer, lots of spicy and herbal hops, rather fresh smelling. Some toasty and crackery maltiness. The flavor is rather hoppy with just a light bitterness, much more hoppy than any othe Steam Beer I’ve come across. The malt is pretty well in the background, just lightly toasty and on the drier side. Some lingering light bitterness and fresh floral and spicy hoppiness. Pretty nice beer with a distinctive fresh hoppiness.

Nice light. And refreshing beer, very lager-like qualities. Soft hops add a ice edge to the malt. Lots of bread character, lingering finish, mildly sweet aftertaste.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Base malt, bready with a trashy thing going on that sort of ruins it. Very light hints of yeast and hops. Not a winner.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle served in a Dogfish Head shaped pint glass
A – Pours a mostly clear russet copper, a small fleeting white head settles into a thin cap.
S – Sweet grain, tangy wheat, cooked corn, slightly toasted,
T – Sweet toasted grains, light orange notes, dull grassiness, multi-grain cereal, sweet biscuit malts, the yeast is more powdery than bready.
M – Stingy carbonation adds some bite on the tip of the tongue, body is full but light around the edges, very light toasted caramel character comes out with some peppery bitterness on the finish. Grassiness only seems to come out on the aftertaste, along with notions of tart fruit skin which is kind of odd.
A quick drinker. Wish this was a little fresher, seems to have faded a bit. Dull components make for an unmemorable beer but some bitterness keeps it alive. An average cream ale that doesn’t stand out in it’s class.

From bottle. Clear amber. Light aroma of grass. A dry beer, not sweet and barely bitter, this is easy drinking.
