COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deadlift Imperial IPA is unlike any Imperial IPA you’ve ever lifted from the beer aisle. It has the strong hop flavor you’d expect from an Imperial IPA but no heaviness that could weigh down your desire to take another sip. The unique flavor stems in part from Nelson Sauvin hops imported from New Zealand. Deadlift’s other component, a simple but fully braced malt backbone muscles up enough malty sweetness and caramel character to spot the incredibly robust hop flavor and aroma.

Deadlift Imperial IPA uses Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand’s best hop growing region: South Island’s Nelson. This region produces some of the most flavorful hops found anywhere. These hops have an intense citrus, fruity, berry-like aroma and flavor that makes them unique. The result will surely be a welcome workout for your taste buds.

22oz bottle 5/16/13 Nelson Imperial IPA (Jewel Clearance)-42° in Shaker-Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of hops, malt, citrus, and berry. This medium bodied brew is a bit different with the hops but still darn tasty.

Bottle (Nelson Imeperial IPA) at home. Pours a clear golden with a white head with nice lacings. Sweet and hoppy with a quite bitter kick. Nice hopsprofile with aromas of exotic fruits and spruce with tiny hints of plant sap. Also hints of residual sugars. Medium to full bodied. Medium carbonation. Quite bitter finish. Good.

Vignale (1372) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 8, 2013
Flaska på Nya Tröls. Stor fin humledoft som är lätt parfymerad med mycket tall, blommig, örtig, med inslag av gröna bär och frkuter som gröna druvor, krusbär och kiwi. Rejäl karamellkropp men måttlig sötma. Medelstor beska. En frisk, fräsch, välhumlad IIPA som inte är så tung och söt men fint humlad. Riktigt god.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is fairly hoppy, but with a lot of herb notes. Taste is only slightly bitter and has a lot of malty balance. Not bad.

Sample at Hal & Al’s. This brew pours a clear pale orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and tropical fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, caramel malt and a bit of pine. The finish is hoppy up front with a tropical fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle@Home as Nelson Imp. IPA. Typical Nelson Sauvin aroma. Pale amber, white head, good lace. Malty, grassy, diesel-ish, sweetish. Warming, very clean. Flavourful, Nelson Sauvin not too dominant which I prefer. Balanced.

Deep gold-orange, slight haze, fluffy off-white head. Bready malt with a little caramel, bright lemony-orange hop character with some fruity and berry-like notes, balanced finish, easy-drinking.

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is peach, grapefruit, and caramel. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a bitter finish.
