COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deadlift Imperial IPA is unlike any Imperial IPA youíve ever lifted from the beer aisle. It has the strong hop flavor youíd expect from an Imperial IPA but no heaviness that could weigh down your desire to take another sip. The unique flavor stems in part from Nelson Sauvin hops imported from New Zealand. Deadliftís other component, a simple but fully braced malt backbone muscles up enough malty sweetness and caramel character to spot the incredibly robust hop flavor and aroma.

Deadlift Imperial IPA uses Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealandís best hop growing region: South Islandís Nelson. This region produces some of the most flavorful hops found anywhere. These hops have an intense citrus, fruity, berry-like aroma and flavor that makes them unique. The result will surely be a welcome workout for your taste buds.

The Hype is for real!! This one is great. This is a classic true double IPA. Tastes very fresh. Very floral and pungent. Soft on the palate. Aftertaste is awesome. Sweetness is right on. Incredible enticing aroma.

Itís THE best beer Iíve ever had. I get a pack of 4 from the local liquor store ever week. Iíve microbrewed myself, tasted thousands of microbrew companies, and travelled to europe frequenting foreign beer, but the Nelson Imperial 924 series is THE best tasting beer Iíve had. I love it. Itís not too hoppy which I hate. Itís very malty and frothy. Itís got a good fullness flavor too. I love it, love it, love it!!!

Light, citrus aroma. Clear copper pour, thin white head. Average lacing. Absolutely delicious, grapefuity, citrus, hoppy flavor. Good malt backbone. 70% hops, 30% malt. Smooth taste. Lively taste. Delicious all around. Just the right fizz and warmth. Best drank when its 70 degress outside.

Lucent amber, thin white head, sticky medium body, medium carbonation.

Aroma: very citrusy fruity hops, some caramel malt sweetness.

Taste: intense fresh citrus fruity hops, some caramel malt sweetness.

All about fresh hop aroma and flavor. The citrus element is very pacific northwest, and by that i mean grapefruit, but less bitter, and more like fresh palmelo, or grapefruit and tangerine, juice. My first experience with these hops (unless theyíre in the SN southern harvest), and they are very nice.

One of my favorite smelling IPAs. This has huge citrus tones mainly grapefruit and some pineapple. I definitely get the hop aroma that the description claims. The palate is lighter but I think that actually compliments this beer. This IPA is delicate and artistic. Not a hulking goliath of an IPA, more like a beautiul assasin that kills you with finesse.

I am really starting to believe that there is no such thing as a bad imperial IPA! This one is absolutely fantastic - excellent hop/malt ratio with lots of great floral/citrusy hop aroma.

Wow. What makes this IIPA so amazing and memorable is the fact that they jumped up and decided to use the Nelson Sauvin hop. I swear it gives this beer a fairly strong blackberry seed-like flavor and aroma. Fortunately this beer is not just a one-trick pony, the malt is complex and has a touch of biscuit and medium caramel. The alcohol is smooth and hits you like a ton of bricks. Once in a while itís really nice to drink an IIPA without feeling like I ran straight into a pine tree planted in an orange grove.

12 oz bottle from Paul U. Dark golden colored pour with a decent head, nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, piney, hoppy bliss. Flavor is more of the same with a good snappy bite in the finish. Amazingly good beer for the price.
