3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
dark amber mild head... slightly earthy but robust toasted oak and bittering hops hit the palate... malts have that typical pale ale presence but they are not overpowering.. smooth finish... not a bad pale ale, not incredibly special but like that friend who doesnt have a lot going on, very reliable...

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
this is one where the aroma far overpowers the flavor. first whiff gives you a strong pine aroma and you think you are in for a nice hop punch. unfortunately, the hops were rather muted and i didnt get any of the tangerine citrus hops flavor that summits are supposed to feature...because of the lack of hop flavor the caramel malt sweetness comes through more...maybe more than it should. overall easy drinking, but not up to par with other pales ive tried lately

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice hoppy aroma great. A nice clear amber color with not much head. The flavor is crisp light bodied and very hoppy but not so bitter. Its a good balance and for the true hop heads its a great brew. The aftertaste is hoppy but once again not so bitter. There is a hint of sweetness but goes away qwickly to a nice hoppy flavor. Worth a buy and a rebuy many times good job.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wonderful citrusy aroma with mild earthyness and a hint of evergreen. Believe itís Chinook hops. Beautiful bier, decent lacing. Nice smooth flavor, smooth bittering, odd malt character I canít quite put my finger on, itís fairly vienna/munich esq. Nice hop flavors, mild sugar residuals. Thin palate, but drinkable. Overall a pretty darn good bier. Very drinkable and different enough to be slightly memorable and odd.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear amber with a small head. Scent is slight citrus and caramel. Tastes similar and I was pleasantly surprised with the Pale Ale.

Draft at Gilley's in Las Vegas. Color is tan nice head and lacing. Musty hops smell, subtle malt back, sweet on the pallet. Pine and slight grapefruit, sweet finish. Definitely not dry on the pallet.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. bottle. Clear, red/amber color. Decent head, but short-lived. Well-considered mix of hops pleases the nose and the taste buds. The citrus tang complements the sweetness of the malt rather nicely, I really liked the W06, but this is very nearly as good. Widmer is not among my usual rotation, but I find myself looking forward to these late winter seasonals.
