3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bit of bready malt in the nose, with some vaguely tart fruity character, accompanied by a balanced, freshly herbal hop presence. The taste has a somewhat biscuity flavor up front with some caramel sweetness. Surprisingly tart in the end, although not over the top. Hop bitterness is middle-of-the-road, with a balanced fruity and herbal flavor. Not bad.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light caramel sweetness detected, not much of hoppiness. Quite disappointingly bland, but nothing offensive here either. Preferable to bulk lagers any day.

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
This beer smells incredible, but does not taste like it smells. It has a nice caramel aroma to it, but is way too carbonated and has a quick drying finish. Those same caramel notes come rushing back when you swallow... but they are dry and weak. This is a good beer for someone that doesnít know what craft beer is. Plus, I love the label. The dog is adorable! I am glad that this is on our 1001 Bottles list, but I wouldnít order it again.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A finger and a half of head on a clear, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is milled grain, hay and orange. NIce.
The flavor is smooth with a mild malt sweet and mild lemon bitterness.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
Itís tasty and sessionable.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
On tap @ Wingers, Elko, NV. Pours a clear medium amber w/ minimal head. Not too much taste to speak of, some malt, but fairly watery and bland. Goes down like a light beer, but surprisingly has a decent aftertaste.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: A creamy, flavorful Amber thatís smooth and easy to drink. Drop Top is fermented by an American Ale yeast to produce beer with a clean flavor and fruity aroma. The velvet texture is from the use of Honey malt and a touch of milk sugar. The Magnum bittering hops provide soft bitterness, while Simcoe, a newly developed hop variety, adds unique hop flavor and aroma.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
My wife bought this - Iím not sure why - but itís in the house, so I guess Iíll rate it - clear dark copper - creamy, well-sustained head - nose of lightly floral hops, light caramel sweetness, a bit of biscuity malt - light body - creamy texture - nothing offensive here, but pretty darn boring - some toasted grain, some bready malt - lightly estery on the tail end, with mildly peppery hops - bland, but drinkable.
