3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rougeau13 (1646) - Texas, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Amber with a weak head. Aroma of caramel with some fruit and hops. Taste is lightly sweet with a minimal hop presence. The body is medium-thin and smooth, but there’s not a whole lot of backbone. It’s pretty good if you’re looking for something really easy drinking.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerbill (3047) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUN 13, 2011
12 oz. bottle. Pours a very hazy amber with a thin off-white head that fades to a scummy film before the second sip and leaves very little lace. The walls of my glass are covered with lots of fat air bubbles. Not a very attractive looking beer. The aroma is weak malt with some leafy hops in the nose as well. The flavor is weak malt with just a bit of caramel and mild hops bitterness at the finish. Underwhelming.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Spelt (231) - East Kingston, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Pretty average beer. Minimal aroma appreciated. Some carmel malts and noble hops in aroma. Not much malt in the flavor but enough to sustain it. A little to thin and not much distance in the finish. Better than macrobrew but not an exciting option.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BobbyAnalog (252) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 30, 2011
Tastes of salt water taffy, pepper flakes, mild caramel. The hue of the ale is a penny copper. A thin, frothy head paddles around on the surface of the beer. Insanely drinkable when thirsty, but if you’re in the sipping mood this brew has the muscle of a limp armed ballplayer. Hints of buttery lettuce and honey dont quite save this ale from jumping off a precipice of mediocrity.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DocLock (6826) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2011
12 oz. bottle from Capone’s. The pour is turbid dullish dark straw colored with about half an inch of clingy white head. Nose is malty, with mild honey and hops, some fruitiness. Tastes malty, with fruity apricotty notes, an overall semi-sweet palate, medium heft, not terribly complex. A decent sessionable beer, but not a world beater.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Sammer (907) - Plano, Texas, USA - MAY 13, 2011
Clean tasting amber ale. One to drink on a summer day by the pool. Not Widmer’s best effort, but still very drinkable.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 johnnyoski (360) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - MAY 11, 2011
Bottle. Light orange color with a very thin off white head. Sweet aroma with elements of honey, toasted almond and coriander. Despite all that there is a nice toned down bitterness in the initial flavor with the honey sweetness returning in the finish. Sticky texture with good carbonation. Not spectacular but a very easy drinking brew.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mora2000 (4111) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 10, 2011
The beer pours an orange color with a large white head. The aroma is heavy on the biscuit malt with a little bit of grassy hops mixed in. The aroma is fairly faint overall. The flavor is heavy on the biscuit malt with a little bit of toffee mixed in. There is a slight grassyness from the hoppiness, but the beer is mainly about the malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Honey yellow-orange; no head. Malty, almost lager aroma; sugary and with a touch of honey. English ale flavor; very sweet and honey-laden. Not too saccharin. Very smooth and buttery palate. A sweet ale all around.

12 ounce bottle. Pours ambere with a decent biege head. Mild aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is on the sweet side, mainly the caramel and malt. Just a touch of hops. Pleasant and easy to drink.
