Haslinger (511), Syracuse, New York, USA Mar 5, 2008 On tap, I was pleasantly surprised to find this in a so-so bar in a Mexican restaurant. I liked it, good sweet flavor and very easy to drink a lot of. Wouldn’t buy again unless I was at the same restaurant and it was my only choice.
Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 10, 2008 355 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a nice, creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity with notes of caramel. Flavor is fruity, sweet, bitter, caramel. Medium body and balanced sweetness. Bittersweet finish. Total impression is quite nice, not totally in balance but very easy to drink. timfoolery (333), California, USA Aug 7, 2008 This one had a super-light pine flavor to complement the maltiness. The palate was very controlled, but not so much as to limit the flavor. I think they improved this beer recently. MrMojave (1), , Oregon, USA does not count Aug 2, 2008 Wonderful flavor that leans towards the malt side but has an almost subtle hop presence. daknole (644), Plantation, Florida, USA Jul 18, 2008 Pours an amber color, nice looking beer. Mostly white head, decent size. Aroma is pretty nice with malts, hops, spice and maybe some sweet smelling notes. Flavor is malty but lacks some body and character. Not the worst, not even close to a top tier amber either. PorterPounder (2810), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jul 16, 2008 Updated: Jul 17, 2008Austin, Tx. - Harlons - Airport - 12 oz bottle - dark orange pour with a creamy white head. Aroma of peach marmalade, floral notes. Flavor is bittersweet with some citrus, maple syrup, candied sugar and a hint of peaches. Thick, creamy mouthfeel - pleasantly surprised. 4th rating from this little airport bar by the Delta gates.
