COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed specially for the 2008 Oregon Brewers Festival
Full Nelson Imperial IPA perfectly adorns the Hopheads of the world and will put your taste buds in the famous wrestling hold! You will feel the full effect of Full Nelson's bitterness that is partially buried by the sweetness of the alcohol and the various Caramel malts. The aroma will body slam you with citrus, grapefruit and berry like tones reached through this imported New Zealand hop variety. The Nelson Sauvin hop comes from Nelson, New Zealand and is growing in a region famous for Sauvignon grapes. Full Nelson will have you begging to be "Tapped Out"!

Bomber from Finger Lakes Beverage, shared with Billy, served cold in a tulip glass. Happy Brew Years!

App.: Slightly hazy amber with a small rocky head. Aroma: Big bright citrus, intense, pine, white wine, Sauv. Blanc, apricots and tropical fruits, gorgeous, nice biscuit and caramel-ish support, beautiful. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly aggressive effervescence. Flav.: Pine/resin, passion fruit, apricots, brown sugar and caramel, a little savoury, more “typical” American malts, a bit grassy, a little white wine, toast, biscuit, lovely; sweet with good bitterness, slightly perfumed and floral and a long, malty, beautiful richly-hopped finish.

Fantastic.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of citrus, pineapple, hops, malt, slight biscuit, and grapefruit. Poured amber/gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Hazy. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, citrus, grapefruit, resin, and fruit. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, hop, and resin finish. 9.7%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
