Tap at Valhalla.. Pour is a dark gold with fluffy white head. Pour is a bit cloudy. Smell is sweet with some nice citrus. Taste is both sweet and bitter. Sticky and oily mouthfeel. Overall imbalanced and pretty much a mess.

355 ml, flaske, 8,6 % ABV, nydt på Frederiksberg Ølbar på Jagtvej på Frederiksberg, 4. september 2014. Gylden ufiltreret amerikansk Imperial IPA med nærmest ikke-eksisterende offwhite-farvet skumtop. Kant og overflade. Karamel, brød, appelsin, koriander, humle, bondegård, græs og gran i aromaen. Mycket bra!

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a snifter. The appearance had a fairly nice looking bronzed orange color with a one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was a light citrusy bittersweet refreshing tropical fruitiness of sorts in the smell. The taste was mainly bittersweet all the way through. On the palate, this one sat right at a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was sharp but on par for the style and for me. Overall, pretty good DIPA I would have again.

Bärnstensfärgad med mellanstort ljust skum. Doftar friskt av nyazeländsk humle! Friskt Humlig och rund i smaken. Perfekt beska och balans! Riktigt bra!

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Orange-gold, off white head. Big fresh citrus hop aroma. White grapefruit, other juicy tropical fruits, moderately sweet lightly caramel malts. Very good, likely made better because it followed Mad River’s Steelhead.

Dark golden with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma of caramel and dark sugar, with tropical fruit, like mango and melon. Sweet and malty flavour, caramel and almost sugary, with fruity hops, a bit of alcohol, and a medium, but somewhat aggressive bitterness.

Bottle. Pours Clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is grass, grapefruit, cereal, caramel and a bit of soy (?). Taste is medium sweet and quite bitter, which I love. Good balance. Full bodied with average carbonation. Good beer!

Würzig hopfiger Antrunk. Süffig würzig, wenig herb, mit der Zeit harzig und trocken. Hopfiger werdend, süßlich. Rund, hopfig würziger, etwas holziger Ausklang. 11/11/9/10/11/11

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of nice citrus and earthy notes from the hops, taste is a hop bomb with a hint of caramel malt back, finish is really bitter. Pretty solid, but nothing mind blowing.
