On tap at Ray’s. Light orange with some head and lacy. Citrus grapefruit flavour, a little odd but otherwise a good DIPA.

DuffMan (6555) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 26, 2014
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Orange-gold, off white head. Big fresh citrus hop aroma. White grapefruit, other juicy tropical fruits, moderately sweet lightly caramel malts. Very good, likely made better because it followed Mad River’s Steelhead.

michael-pollack (4960) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of citrus, pineapple, hops, malt, slight biscuit, and grapefruit. Poured amber/gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Hazy. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, citrus, grapefruit, resin, and fruit. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, hop, and resin finish. 9.7%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

It seems I keep forgetting to rate these wider beers. I remember this beer as having a strong bitter hop taste to the point that the imbalance gave it a poor finish. Good but not great.
