Strange woody finish, nice palate for a wheat beer. Very mild, limited character, comparable to a lager.

Honestly the best selection on tap available, so why not. Pour is hazy orange with a big white head and great lacing. Malty, bready, heavy wheat, light citrus, and a touch of banana in the aroma. Taste is lightly citrusy, wheaty, biscuit, straw - no real spice or esters - and cereal. Medium body with high carbonation. Decent beer and easy drinking, but definitely not a hefeweizen . Really just an American wheat IMO.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is orange, banana, wheat and sweet malts. Taste is mild sweet with moderate carbonation.

Cloudy gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and crispy. Sharp minerals. Sweet wheaty malt, trace of citrus and a whisper of sweet bubblegum and banana esters. Mild spice. Crisp minerally finish. All right. nice balance of wheaty good things!

I bought a variety pack of Widmer. I had never tried there beers before and am excited to try them out. I started with the Hefe cause it is there flagship beer. It is good... really good actually, but it doesn’t quite stack up to my German hefe favorites. I found this to be a decent representation of style. It just comes across a bit lighter and less sticky on the palate in comparison to most german hefes. Interestingly enough, the flavor rests more on the grainy wheat side of things rather than the estery banana side. Would buy again.

Very very good beer! Doesnt leave a strong after taste in your mouth which can distract from the flavor.

Not much happening here. Spent a lot of money on a nice bottle, but maybe better invested in making a better beer. Very little flavour and barring the cloudy colour does little to remind me of a hef.

Bland and lacks pop, although it is smooth. Its looks the part however!

Pours a nice golden straw color with a white head that fades rather quickly. Nice citrus aromas with a very smooth clean finish
