This beer was a very weak attempt at a hefeweizen it has to be more in line with the american style than the german hefe

Hazy orange yellow color with thin white lacing. Extremely mild aroma with maybe a light citrus note. Then body for a hefeweizen. Good wheat and slight lemon note.

Quite nice. Has that americam touch for weizens. Dine foam and cloudy shape. Nice refreshing character

Bottle. Pours unclear pale yellow with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has apples, sweet wheat, light banana. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, light apple, some banana. Lots of grainy bitterness to the finish.

I tend to disagree with a lot of other reviews... I am not a "hop-head" or typical "beer snob" type of beer lover, so I wasn’t hoping for any sort of crazy overly powerful wheat taste. I didn’t read any reviews before drinking this and didn’t read up on it before hand either. I could taste some citrus and a subtly sweet aftertaste. It was comparable to a light beer with a better taste. I actually rather enjoyed this beer. I am glad I bought a 6-pack of this... I will enjoy all of them! I thought everything about this beer as far as the ratings go were average... nothing special, but I thought the taste was better than expected. I gave it a 15/20 for overall... again, I am not a super hoppy beer lover kind of drinker, but I enjoy a mild to medium complex beer... this was good!

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2013 Partial to German Weissbiers; this is a little thin but enjoyable enough at a ballpark where I drank it. A bit pale in color and slight notes of citrus.
