One of the better hefes Iv’e had. It pours a beautiful hazy golden color. A nice head that stays. The flavor is smooth and silky. Very bubbly and fruity.

On tap at Henry’s 12th St. in Portland. This is a run-of-the-mill Hefeweizen. Cloudy gold in color with a finger of head and a touch of citrusy flavor. Not the quality of Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat, or even Blue Moon.

Bottle. Just not much to recommend here. Standard wheat beer taste, with little yeast, spice or complexity. Detected a bit of an off-metallic taste. Just not a lot going on here, and what little is happening is not all good.

Draft. Pours a cloudy, warm, golden in color with a big, foamy head. It has just a touch of citrus along with the yeasty, doughy aroma. The flavor is a bit sweet and orangy. It has a medium body and a mild finish. All in all, a solid but average hefe.

Bottle. Pours with some nice lacing, golden and hazy with a frothy head. Aroma and palate hint of lemons, light carbonation. Medium hops and quick finish. Refreshing, although the flavor didn’t impress as much as I had hoped.
