A golden unfiltered wheat beer that is truly cloudy and clearly superb.

Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head that quickly dissipates. Not much aroma. Typical wheat beer taste. Pretty refreshing, although I am not a fan of wheat beers.

From specialty bottle, designed and bottled as release number 3 of Widmer’s 30 Beers for 30 Years. Rating small anniversary batch. Slightly cloudy, very effervescent golden color. Aroma is clove, banana, lemon, and wheat. Taste is banana, clove, wheat, bubblegum, and bread. Fizzy mouthfeel, with a good amount of fruit and wheat in the finish.

Bottle - pours cloudy golden with small head. Nose of malt and caramel. Taste is very malty, salt, and grass. Nice summer time beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ticking this one for an Untappd badge... Surprised I have not reviewed it before... Pours an orange haze with a long lasting white head. Nose is standard "wheat" with a little bit of something that I associate with lemon. Flavor is the same... drinkable and light tasting, goes down pretty smoothly. Probably the prototype for most American Wheats... but I like mine generally with a lot more hop character.

Pours a cloudy straw golden color with white head. Cloves, bananas, and some raw wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more wheat.

Decent beer, but nothing special. Slightly better than domestic beers in the US. Not my first choice to drink, but also not my last.

A middle of the road american hefe. Not much in the way of spicyness, but has some light lemon.

12 oz. bottle packaged on 11/14/13 poured into weizen glass. Hazy pale golden color with a decent-sized fizzy white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, coriander and pepper. Flavor follows suit, with a clean finish and refreshing mouthfeel. This lacks the phenol character of a Germen hefeweizen, it’s certainly pleasant enough.

Draft in Portland. Cloudy light tan orange color. Aroma is lemon and wheat. Average carbonation. Light bready grains with some lemon. Slight banana. Pretty good.
