Oct 12, 2006 06 OBF. They listed this at something like 8% originally, not sure what it should be, wouldn’t call it a pale ale though. This brew had a big citrus hop flavor, but the grain side was the real twist. The sweetness came of fruity up front, but very dry, then finished on the sour side. Very herbal tasting in the dryness. I was very impressed when I heard they made a 8% brew for the OBF, but i’m not sure if that was correct, looks like 5% here.

A golden straw color. Liked the flavors on this brew. This was a first beer for the day and what a way to start. More than 30 IBUs to this brew and this had a good strong finish. Has a fruity essence and a good grain bill for the brew.
