Poured minimal head on a cloudy, bright red colored body. The aroma was pleasant and flowery. The marionberry and coriander came through too. The taste gave a hit of the Gose sour, which was rounded out by the berry sweetness. The texture was crisp with moderate carbonation. An interesting beer and worth trying at least once.

Bottle at night one of Jack’s Farewell Tour in London - this one I picked up in NYC. Pours lightly hazy red with a fine, filmy light pine head. Nose has some sweet and lightly tang berries, some bready malts. Light sweet flavor, some ripe cherry, subtle bread, very light tang, hints of raspberry, some strawberries and cream. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and lightly tangy berries to finish, subtle berry syrup, bit more strawberries and cream, very faint herbal bitterness, some simple sugars. Pretty basic stuff overall but easygoing and drinkable.

Had to try this just due to the name. Pretty deep pink color with an amber tint (almost like a dark rose wine) with the slightest of white head ringing the glass. Initially had a slight mustiness to the aroma and some sweet berry notes. Nice light yeast sourness without being to assertive. The sweet berry and fruit flavors come through without any excessive sweetness. Both of these flavors are really well balanced and make this refreshing and enjoyable to drink. There is a floral component to this probably from the hibiscus. Very little carbonation which is appropriate. Finishes light and tart. I was hesitant to try this at first since I thought it might be really intense, but it is very drinkable and tasty.

Bomber bought at Super 1 in CDA, ID. Pours cloudy ruby red with a diminishing pink-white head; leaves a ring of foam. Aroma consists of berries, funk, grain, faintly medicinal. Taste is a little sweet, a little tart (4 on a 1-10 sour scale); finishes super dry. Flavors of berries and flowers, a little salt. Thin body, fine carbonation. Though not a total waste, I thought this would be better.

Gose seems to be the new style that American brewers are trying to resuscitate. The salt will probably push a lot of people away at first, but this floral variety with its fruity body may help acclimate it to the palate.

Bottle. Pours a raspberry red color with small white head. Berries, light floral, light wheat aromas. Muted berry and floral flavors. Not to interesting, not a big fan of this one.

Draft at Moriartys. Cloudy strawberry pour. Cherry juice. Orange juice. Fruit tea. Dryer than expected but feels more like a melted smoothie than a beer.

Aroma is light fruit, minerals and a hint of salt. The flavor is berries, malts and a mix of tart and salty in the finish. Not incredible but interesting enough.

On draught at Widmer Gasthaus. Deep ruby red color. Light berry aroma with a hint of spice. Mostly marionberry flavor, with notes of saltiness and coriander. Finishes with a light salty fruit aftertaste.
