Pours to a light red mostly pink leaving little white head with aromas of a floral fruit. Taste sweet at first with an aftertaste of something like tomato juice.

"A vibrantly dark pink pour yeilds a pretty nice semi-sweet fruity brew with just a hint of tartness and tea-like flavor to it. The aroma was nearly non-existent, or this could have been better. Easy drinking chick brew as it is."

22 oz bottle pour. Pours a dark red with a super fruit beer like aroma. Lambic like. I was unsure with this at first but this continued to get better as I went through it. A lot of berry flavor, but not too sweet. A little more sour then sweet for sure. Long, cherry and berry flavor that will stick around a while. I ended up enjoying this. Give it a shot.

On tap at The Mermaid Tavern in Tampa. This wasnít half bad: Belgian yeast, berry, little bland. Not salty enough. 7.0

An interesting Gose. Pours a beautiful cloudy pink-red with a thin white head. Smells like strawberry and grapefruit, almost like a wine cooler. Taste had a bready start, and a tart fruity finish. Lots of carbonation. Had in the bottle.

Cloudy red with yeasty floaters and a light head. Got the coriander and little bit banana in the nose. Finished nice tartness from the hibiscus. Didnít get any of the Marion berry.

Bottle dated 6/4/12 pours a pink with little head. Fruity smell. Tastes like berry, a tad bit tart. Its mostly flat though. Could be better.

pink color; sour berry aroma; nice, mildly tart berry flavor with spice notes; mildly carbonated; a bit light bodied; Iíd prefer it more tart

Sweet smell.... Similar to a lambic. Pours a cloudy pink with a khaki head. First sip is sweet and tart with a faint sourness.... Truly gross. Allow it to breathe and warm a bit... Second sip... Worse. Coats the mouth with a taste that is hard to get rid of. I dumped the rest out... Try at your own risk

Been looking forward to this since they announced their intent to brew it. Bottled 07MAY12 From the label: Marionberry Hibiscus Gose: Ale brewed with coriander and with marionberries and hibiscus added. Pours a lovely dark mauve with little clarity and a solid sheet of light, pretty pink foam. The beer is very good looking, I donít usually say that, but itís a looker! The hibiscus comes out up front in the nose followed by the marionberries with a slight tart character. Coriander is evident and shouldnít be here. Flavor is nice and cultured - good use of the salt here as it simply tames the sharpness the berries bring. Some grassy, woody flavors along with a continuation of the coriander burden. There is also a remaining strength of hibiscus. The body is fairly full and carb is restrained leaving a slightly dry finish. Overall, Iíd tone down the hibiscus, and let the berries shine a little more. The salinity is spot on, but there should also be a bit of tartness. Not the best attempt, but Iím glad to see a big name getting into the style! Serving type: bottle 05-21-2012
