3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body, almost black, with a small fizzy brown head that had pretty decent retention before fading to a thin film. The nose is quite sweet and chocolaty with some roast, light coffee, and maybe a bit of a weird dry roasted peanut like note. Flavor wise, it’s indeed quite sweet up front with a lot of milk chocolate and some coffee. It finishes a bit on the drier side though, with a slightly burnt and acrid malt quality that really lingers. I’m a fan of it not being overly sweet all the way thru, but the finish seems a little off. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. This is drinkable, but not something that I’d seek out and buy again.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good beer - an easy drinker. Lacked a big aroma. It had some roasty/marshmallow characteristics, but not a lot. The flavor was roasty, toasty, but need a silkier mouthfeel. It was a solid beer, just wanted more creaminess and something to mellow out the big earthy hops.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sight: Classic stout color and pour, hardly any head, but what there was, was crema in color, like a nice espresso.
Aroma: Nutty, slight chocolate, vanilla, slight coffee.
Taste: Slight chocolate start, vanilla, toffee, roasted, bitter middle, bitter finish, not unpleasant by any means. Lingers.
Mouth: Smooth start, slight effervescent, good fullness.
Finish: Lingering bitter, continual flavor of taste.
Very good Milk Stout.
