Bottle purchased at Vickerís Liquors and opened on the fourth of July, this year. Darkest brown in color with a huge tan head. Malty and roasty nose with notes of chocolate and cream. Malty and chocolatey flavor with a creamy lactose character before a bitter coffee finish. Pretty nice.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5591) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2014
From the April 2014 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was lactose, a hint of vanilla and toasty malts. The flavor was bitter vanilla, lactose, roasty malts and floral hops. Medium length bitter finish of vanilla and lactose. Medium body. Meh.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body, almost black, with a small fizzy brown head that had pretty decent retention before fading to a thin film. The nose is quite sweet and chocolaty with some roast, light coffee, and maybe a bit of a weird dry roasted peanut like note. Flavor wise, itís indeed quite sweet up front with a lot of milk chocolate and some coffee. It finishes a bit on the drier side though, with a slightly burnt and acrid malt quality that really lingers. Iím a fan of it not being overly sweet all the way thru, but the finish seems a little off. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. This is drinkable, but not something that Iíd seek out and buy again.

Black with a thick, dark tan head. Scent is malt, chocolate.. Taste is smoky chocolate, strong milk notes. Sweet with a light roasty bitter. Very smooth....tasty.

22oz bottle in an English pint. Pours black with a lacy, light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of milk, some coffee and chocolate, and some floral hops. Flavor about the same. Smooth texture. A pretty good milk stout.

Aroma is milk sweetness, roasted malts and a hint of tartness/acidity. The flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, milk sweetness, a hint of fruit and mild acidity in the finish.

12 oz. can purchased at @ Nikkiís Liquors, Providence, R.I. for $2.59. Stamp says bottled on 12 September 2012. Guinness pint glass shows a black liquid with a quickly disappearing tan head that leaves nothing in its wake. Nose is roasted barley, chocolate and light pine hops. Where is the sweet lactose or sweet sugar? I was expecting roasted malts and coffee sweetness somewhere. It tastes more like a weak Black IPA. Thinner body with a slight pine finish. When I open a sweet stout, thatís what I want to drink. Complete false advertising here. The rating reflects that fact.

Bottle... Poured pitch black with a thick forming, frothy, eggy, light khaki head. Smooth, full bodied mouthfeel. Along the lines of chocolate milk with a lot of cocoa, lactose sugar, mocha, and roast. Added char quality was sort of astringent but not overbearing.

How am I the first to rate this?!? Anyway, bottle. Pours a very dark brown (almost black) with a moderate, though quickly disappearing, head. Some nice roasted flavors to the nose. Just a little bit of sweetness to the taste, but some nice roasting to the taste as well. Happy to drink this one.

Bottle. Dark cola brown, small light tan head, fading. Nose is boozy, char, pencil shavings, tar. Flavor is super boozy, roast an char, harsh. Drained it.
