COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Loosen your lederhosen. Our full-bodied OKTO Festival Ale is inspired by Bavarian Oktoberfest, and we pay fitting tribute with its distinctive malt flavors, mild floral character and crisp clean finish. Prost! To the land of the Prost!

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget @ Stockholm. Pours reddish amber with a small head. Sweet caramel aroma, a bit fruity with some bitter hints. Taste is quite light, slightly bitter. Light-bodied, with a dry mouthfeel, short aftertaste. OK beer and quite sessionable - but not spectacular.

Strange spice flavor. Lightly sweet. Not remarkable. Rather watery. Too much nutmeg/clove/holiday spice.

Pours a medium amber with lasting ring. Aroma is spiced caramel malts with some grassy hops in the background. Taste is spices, malt, slightly floral with mild hop bitterness. Palate is medium-high carbonation giving it a little kick. Aftertaste is a little grainy. Some sips are "meh", some are decent.

MadRobin (1694) - Silver Spring, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Clear, amber copper with an off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee, dried apricots, orange and floral hops. Taste of floral hops, musty dried leaves, caramel, toffee and light fruit. The malt and hops aren't working together well. The bitter floral and musty hops are not sufficiently balanced by the malt sweetness. Medium body and medium carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not exactly an amber ale, but that’s OK. Aroma of bready malt. Light amber color. Taste is sweet malt, grain with a hop bitterness very much in the background. It’s pleasant, but nothing special.

Clear amber appearance with an average size white head and good lacing. Muted aroma, mostly caramel malts. Modestly hopped, sweetish, malty flavor that lingers well into the aftertaste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Drinkable but not memorable.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Caramel malty smell with some ripe fruits and actually some hops. Similar taste. Full body and fairly smooth.

Extremely malty with a fruity and tingly hop bitterness. Interesting alternative to the more traditional Oktoberfest beer.

Dark bronze color. Head initially good, bit falls fast. Minimal lace. Strong malt and hop flavor. Not sure IBU 28 is accurate

12oz bottle. Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of malt, dry fall leaves, light cardboard, and woody hops. Taste is the same.
