Ja, varken bu eller bä för sin stil. Bättre fyllighet och kropp en en medioker lager infalla fall.

In my opinion they nailed the color, body, and most of the flavors. Okto has all the subtle mineral, carmel, roast, and herbal qualities you look for in this style. The main thing that Im missing is in the finish. I really wish they would have lagered this beer but still, a decent session ale.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A-mild caramel aroma with a faint herbal quality. A-clear dark orange hue, thin white head, vitually no lacing. T-Mild roast and caramel flavor with some grassy & herb notes. P-A thin mouthfeel for something I think expects something more. O- I enjoy the sweet caramel notes and Its good but I think it could be a bit more interesting and dyamic, especially with all the fun hop varieties that Widmer has at the brewery. A safe beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pretty light tasting for a heavy seasonal ale. Would drink it again if available but by far not my first choice. Id rate it middle of the road.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
355 ml bottle, pours deep amber with an off-white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of orange peels, apricots, herbs and bread, slightly. Taste is similar, orange peels, apricots, herbs, spices and bread. Some bitterness, medium carbonation and body. Both the aroma and the taste has a slightly unpleasant nuance, that is similar of the albedo of an orange. Overall the beer is okay.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a beautiful autumn rust orange. Head was minimal, but fine bubbles and persistent. Aroma is light but malty in character. Flavor is malty sweet with a spicy edge. Body is a little on the heavy side, with a slick feel to it.
