Loosen your lederhosen. Our full-bodied OKTO Festival Ale is inspired by Bavarian Oktoberfest, and we pay fitting tribute with its distinctive malt flavors, mild floral character and crisp clean finish. Prost! To the land of the Prost!

Orangish/amber pour. Small head. Toffee, caramel, bread and some grassy hops in the aroma. Flavor is malty and a tad sweet and the hops offset the sweetness nicely. Pretty ok for the style.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of Sparky27. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, toffee and dark fruits. Taste is toffee, caramel, toasted malts, raisins, leafy hops. Medium bodied.

Slick orange. Sticky and mashy. Unbalanced sweet mess. Not getting the diacetyl others are, but I agree this is not a good use of beer ingredients. Painfully sweet and underattenuated. Dear Widmers, the bavarian octoberfest beers were _lagers_, not _ales_. If you don’t yet know the difference, it’s not surprising you end up with crap like this.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2006 Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Drank this baby at about 2 AM on Friday, September 1st. Steady 60 mph wind and rain pounding the front of the beach house. Sliding glass door is bulging, but not breaking... and I’m drinking... a clear copper lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Lots of sticky, melted caramel in the aroma. Caramely, malty-sweet flavor. Medium-bodied and milky with modest carbonation. Malty, gummy finish. Yum! Thanks kenb!

Bottle @ home picked up @ Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a dark rust orange appearance with an off white head. Caramel, toasted malty, slightly floral, herbal hoppy aroma. A little chewy malty, light bubblegum, a bit zesty yeasty, caramel flavor. Pretty decent beer.

355mL thx to Xanny. Pours amber. Weak head. Spotty lace. Nose is vegetal, maple candy, toffee, strawberry. A bit weak. Taste is husky grain, vegetal/DMS, toffee. Odd. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One-third pint, gravicask at USA Cask Ale Bar, GBBF’11. Amber-dark brown to look at, dotted spots at the glass. Rather inviting smell of dark sweet malts. Dried fruits mixed with sweet caramel in flavour, notes of butter. Malty endnotes. OK, if not a bit unusual for an Octoberfest bier (London, 04.08.2011).

Dark orange appearance. Fizzy and thin, unflavorful. Some oranges, fruit and weeds... grassy weeds. Not enjoyed.

Bottle. Sour milk and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow with large head. Lightly sour caramel malt flavor. Wow - a Oktober-cream ale.

Pours with a small, off-white head that goes leaving behind a cleear orange body. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel and a bit of champagne like spritz. Taste is hard to find (not much of it) but there is some caramel and diacetyl. Light bubbles.
