Loosen your lederhosen. Our full-bodied OKTO Festival Ale is inspired by Bavarian Oktoberfest, and we pay fitting tribute with its distinctive malt flavors, mild floral character and crisp clean finish. Prost! To the land of the Prost!

Not bad; going in the right direction. Poured with a medium sized very light tan head that is somewhat persistant and some lace. Color is a clear orange amber with lots of little bubble trails. Aroma is malt, fresh beer, and a bit of fruit. Flavor is much like the nose plus some caramel and a little on the dry side. Body is good; ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor and somewhat short in length.

a nice sweet substantial in body burnt orange colored brew with a well defined lightly toasted malt and juicy yet mild hop character with gratefully little of the alkaline leafy earthy flavor associated with some Autumn type brews. A bit of caramel and a carbonation that let’s go of a deep burny burp of...good tasting beer! demonstrative and pleasant to my mind and interestingly satisfying with a real beer aroma. someone developed a damn good recipe.

Really great Märzen beer that focuses on the malty warm flavor that ends on a sweet note. Drinkable in larger quantities for the many beer festivals. Better on draft than in bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(BB 11/05/02) Not much on the nose. Little head that fades fast. Very crisp and malty, almost an orange like flavor. Overall, a good O-fest, but not exceptional.

I had this baby boy on tap. Pours deep orange with a nice frothy white head. Had our of a yard long glass iced by one of the sexiest bartenders in all of Arizona. I love the smell of this brew. Smells, hm almost creamy, with subtle hints of fruit. Malty taste and smooth. A pretty good amber. Maybe because it was on tap? Still a goodie to endulge in.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2009 12 oz bottle. Small beige.head, Beer pours a clear reddish amber color. Not much aroma, perhaps some mild apple smell. Well carbonated. Light to medium body. Well balanced with caramel maltiness. Finish is a bit cola-ish with some mild hoppiness. Refreshing hot summer day type of brew. Pretty good. 10/10/2009 rerate-orig was 7/3/7/3/14- 12 OZ BOTTLE, JUST BOTTLED 5.5 WEEKS AGO, Sept 1, 2009. Pours a clear copper with a medium sized beige head. Nose is mild and all malts. Taste is caramel, nuts, biscuits with some very subtle mild hoppiness in the finish that does keep this from being sweet. If ever a beer was balanced this is it. Not real sweet like Sam Adams Octoberfest, although they each have their time, place, mood. Anyways this is easy to drink, sessionable and a nice Oktoberfest, even if it is an ale.

The aroma is nothing special but fits the style with paper, grains, and citrus hops. This one maybe has more hops than the style normally has. The appearance is amber wit a medium head. The taste is malt heaven with a citrus hop balance. The palate is smooth. Overall this one is real yummy!

Fresh hop flavor on the nose. Deep amber color with nice lacing against the glass. Hoppy flavor with some caramel, oat and wheat undertones. Full bodied with a well done complexity. Overall, this is a nice, full flavored Oktoberfest brew with lots of hops. I’d give this a B+ rating.

Flaska från SB. Bränstensfärgad, klar, medelhögt skum. Växande maltiga dofter när tempen stiger. Sirapslimpa, karamell, torkad frukt och aningen madeira. Riktigt trevlig. Smaken går i samma stil. Rejäl och hyfsat komplex smak. I princip ingen humle men en lite efterbeska. Känns trogen mot orginalstilen trots att den är överjäst.

Very good oktoberfest. Sweet, fruity aroma. Nice golden color, but would have liked it to be a bit more redish. Sweet, yeasty taste. Nice clean palate. Overall good, but not outstanding.
