2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
What the hell is this? This is nothing like a fest beer, or anything oktoberfest at all. Did they invent this? Itís just a roasty malty amber. I donít think this has anything to do with late September festivals. Itís sort of like if youíre expecting to sip milk and you drink orange juice, I thought it was bad only because it was nothing like an oktoberfest. Not a bad beer itself but what the heck?

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Date bottom right corner reads in white "July 18 14."
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a semi - dark red color with about a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing tries to concave a bit but spreads out to a nice semi - thick white foamy lacing.
The smell has a nice rich sticky sweet caramel maltiness running through a light roasty nuttiness and then a light toffee comes across nicely.
The taste was mainly malty sweet with a thorough caramel rich nutty flavoring, light breadiness coming in as well.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Thereís a nice sticky sweet caramel aftertaste that lead to a semi - dry finish.
Overall, Iím not exactly sure why this labeled an Amber ale on ratebeer but if anything, this one definitely lives up to the Oktoberfest style, I could definitely do this again.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma beats the taste - nice floral malt. Clear deep amber with a thin head cover, no lace. Taste is sweet malt that adds a light bitter near the end, but it gives up way before it gets there. Certainly easy to quaff, because there isnít much flavor or body to get in the way. Outside of aroma, disappointing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, I assume this is a little past its prime. Nose is sweet and malty, rich and doughy with light spice underneath. Deep reddish-amber pour with a soapy beige head. Taste of light bitterness and alcohol seepage, light sweetness but not too much, thin medium body with a little warmth and occasional herbal/floral caresses. But the story is the above-average malt complexity, not lagerish but still inviting, with doughy and caramel components, a touch of Wertherís. Itís a little bit hot/less than clean, but good enough.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
poured copper red with off white head. Mild malt aroma. The flavor seemed watery with mild malt and maybe a touch of caramel.
