4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this from draft yesterday at Red Feather in downtown Boise.
Pours a hazy straw golden... Big white head dies back pretty quickly.
Nose shows pungent sourness... more lactic than lemony... no graininess at all.
Flavor mirrors the nose perfectly with a background pale grainy profile... very lactic for such a low ABV beer.
Light body with a good carbonation.
This is by far the most authentic Berliner I have had that was made in the US.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Pangaea, Sacramento. Pours light golden with modest white head and a mildly sour fruit aroma. There is a delicate sour wheat flavor that is quite tasty.

On tap at bitter creek. Pours out a hazy yellow topped with a white ring. Aroma of lemon grass citrus dish soap and a little sweetness. Taste is as the aroma with the lemon leading the way. A nice light pucker factor.
